Cup Warm-up

Cup O' Dirt
Pencil and Oil Pastel
Chalk Pastel and Watercolor

Spray Paint
Stencil for Spray Paint

Week of 9/9/2013. I'm actually pretty happy with the watercolor one, which is interesting, because I normally hate watercolor. The spray painting was a new experience. Let's not talk about the oil pastel.

String Instrument Warm-up

So warm-ups in Mr. Sands' class are about ten minutes total. And we work on related subjects for several days in a row.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out. The handle could probably be a bit longer. My photograph was slightly off from the angle I was drawing from.

Make me draw something unfamiliar in pen and it will turn out something like this. A mess. Eurgh. Again, photo slightly off from where I was drawing. That'll probably happen often.

Yeah, I didn't draw this one. I think people were doing this one in pastels maybe? Either way, I got bored with getting the same exact angle each time and decided to work on math homework rather than draw this guitar.

September 3-5 2013.

Cat/Bird Study #1 (2013)

January 2013. Decided to expand my focus to canines, felines, and birds. These were my first sketches of cats/birds, most of which are without reference picture.
